Husband and wife Tim and Julie are the gracious Airbnb hosts at The Sapphire Star. Tim is a fluid hydraulic engineer, and Julie is a Mary Kay Sales Director. They love spending time in Door County, and they are excited to share the Door County vacation experience with their guests. Their year-long renovation of the century-old house was a labor of love.

For guests’ convenience, The Sapphire Star offers self check-in and keyless entry. Check-in information can be found at Airbnb. Airbnb hosts Tim and Julie own homes in Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. They spend most of their summer in Door County. Thus, they are close to The Sapphire Star if they need to meet guests in person.
What is the maximum number of guests allowed?
The Sapphire Star hosts up to eight guests. Vacationers have the entire house to themselves. The vacation rental is best suited to groups of adults and families with middle-school-aged children, not infants, preschool or elementary aged children.

To maintain a hypoallergenic environment for all guests, no pets are allowed at this STR.
What does the kitchen offer for guests who like to cook?
Hosts Tim and Julie invite guests to make themselves at home at The Sapphire Star. Meal prep is easy, due to the large island and ample counter space in the kitchen. The island seats seven, and the dining room seats eight. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking essentials like salt and pepper, plus everything needed to prepare, serve, and enjoy a meal.
